Supporting Ambitious Businesses
Since the Scottish Government published A Vision for the Voluntary Sector in 2005, voluntary organisations face increasing challenges to build skills and capacity, diversify income streams and build effective partnerships whilst ensuring effective governance of resources.
Eriskay Associates work with a number of organisations in the third sector, helping them clarify and refine their mission and purpose, identifying opportunities to develop commercial revenue streams and providing training and support to build capacity among managers and stakeholders.

Eriskay Associates has helped many growing businesses make the most of their resources and develop the skills and capabilities they need for success:
"Mark Taylor from Eriskay Associates has undertaken a range of projects for St Andrew's First Aid. These have helped us develop a better understanding of the commercial opportunities available to us and how these can be used to support our development as a social enterprise. Mark worked well with internal managers, stakeholders and service users to gain a good understanding of our organisation's diverse goals and to create realistic and actionable development plans. Throughout this work, Mark has demonstrated a creative insight into what works well in the voluntary sector. His work has proven very beneficial to St Andrew's First Aid and I have no hesitation in recommending him for similar work with other voluntary organisations."
